Thermal Barrier

Our product is a natural thermal barrier that greatly reduces the heat and cold from penetrating into your home or office (and also keeps the warm/cool air in) during the summer and winter months. This barrier results in a 20-30% monthly decrease in your electric bill year-round by causing the heater or A/C from turning on fewer times throughout the day.

Mold and Mildew Resistant

Cork is a naturally water resistant and mold resistant material meaning there will never be any water damage or development of mold in or on your building where the cork is applied.

Fire Retardant

Cork is naturally a fire retardant material. Cork will not release incandescent particles nor will the flames propagate. Making this the perfect flameproof protection you can give to your building.

Long-Lasting Protection

Due to its elastic nature, the material expands and shrinks depending on the weather which means it will never chip away as stucco or paint does. This characteristic is also the reason why any building with Thermal CorkShield™ applied to it has years of protection and life added to it.

Sound Barrier

  • Thermal CorkShield™ will make your home or building quieter reducing sound.

  • ​It can reduce echo in any room, home, & business which is why sound recording studios still use cork to help prevent sound reverberation.

Flexibility / Elasticity

  • Our product has elastic properties which means that it can expand and contract depending on the weather

  • Due to its flexibility, Thermal CorkShield™ has the capacity to recover the initial volume after experiencing deformation

  • Unlike stucco and paint, our product will not chip or crack.

Eco Friendly

  • We are proud to offer an environmentally friendly and renewable product. The bark of the cork tree is removed every nine years causing large amounts of oxygen to be released by the tree into the environment. The tree will last for hundreds of years continuing to grow new bark. Thermal CorkShield is a greener naturally renewable resources

SUBSTRATES

  • Because the cork is lined with micro suction-cups that permit it to adhere to the surface without allowing it to slide, it has a High Friction Coefficient, allowing it to adhere to almost any surface!

Warranty

  • The warranty has just gone up from 10 years to 15 years. Given our past performance, we were able to raise it just this year!!!

Colors

  • We currently have 30 colors to choose from, custom colors are available upon request.

Waterproof and Breathable

  • It is water-resistant. Just like cork in a wine bottle, it will stop the passage of moisture going through however allow it to breathe. On your wall, it is an effective semi-permeable envelope.
